AMPAA Releases new details for 2023 Symposium

The African Mining Professionals Association of Australia, AMPAA, has released new details on its seminal 2023 Symposium. The event, to be held on 5 August 2023 at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Perth has the theme, “Unearthing the Future: Transforming Mining through Innovation and Sustainability.”

A list of speakers released by the Association includes Professor Allan Trench (FAusIMM, FAIM, FAICD), the MBA Director at the University of Western Australia (UWA) Business School.

Professor Trench has held both industry and academic roles over the last 30-years in the resources sector.
Associate Professor David Mickler is also on the bill. He is an Associate Professor of International Relations in the Faculty of Humanities at Curtin University, Australia.
He is the Founder of the new Centre for Australia-Africa Relations at Curtin and convenes the Emerging Leaders in Australia-Africa Diplomacy (ELAAD) program.
Other speakers include, Dr Jacqui Coombes, Ms. Tecla Ngoma, Ekow Taylor and Peter Young.

The symposium will provide attendees with the opportunity to network with other mining professionals from across Australia and Africa.
